Ben Gordon May Sit Out Preseason Opener
October 9th, 2008 by Andrew WamboldtThe Bulls who already will be without Joakim Noah and Michael Ruffin, may now be without Ben Gordon, who has suffered both ankle and toe injuries in training camp.
Gordon skipped practice on Wednesday in order to visit the doctor. He will be a game time decision.
Last year Ben Gordon missed the first 5 games of preseason play. Hopefully Gordon can get back in the lineup soon, so he can try to get off to a quick start this season.
In regards to Gordon’s injury, Vinny Del Negro had this to say, “That furniture can be dangerous.” It is not known whether Vinny was joking or serious.
If Vinny is serious, Ben Gordon will begin to enter the Sammy Sosa freak injuries zone. Will Gordon throw his back out while sneezing next week? If so, Vinny will undoubtedly say, “Those colds can be dangerous.”
