Ben Gordon Named Bulls Player of the Month

# Ben Gordon has been named the Bulls CDW/Blackberry Player of the Month for February. This marks the second time this season that Gordon has claimed CDW/Blackberry Player of the Month honors. He also won the award in December.
Through 11 February games, Gordon (6-3, 200 pounds) has started every game (the Bulls have gone 5-6) and he has averaged a team-best 23.3 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 2.6 apg and 1.00 spg in 35.7 mpg. He has shot .474 from the field, .388 from downtown (37-81 3FG) and .905 from the line. Gordon has also led the team in scoring six times, and he has scored 20 or more points seven times, highlighted by a Bulls player season-high 37 points versus Denver on Feb. 20.
On the year, Gordon leads the Bulls in scoring with 20.6 ppg (18th in the NBA), and owns averages of 3.5 apg, 3.5 rpg, 0.76 spg and 36.0 mpg. He is shooting .453 from the field, .865 from the charity stripe (21st) and .407 from behind the arc (37th). He also ranks fifth in the NBA with 125 three-point field goals made.

# In Chicago’s 107-93 win at New Orleans on Feb. 4, he tallied 19 points (7-13 FG) and a team-high seven assists in 37:09.
# At Dallas on Feb. 7, he scored a game-high 28 points (4-6 3FG) in 33:37.
# He finished with a game-high 34 points (14-16 FT) and five boards in 41:46 versus Miami on Feb. 12.
# In the Bulls’ 116-99 win over Denver on Feb. 20, he scored a season-high 37 points (4-7 3FGM) and grabbed five rebounds in 40:21.
