Reader of Dabullz.com or a poster on thebullspodcasters.com with at least 20 posts.

General Rules:

In order to play, you will need to have NBA 2k9 for XBOX 360 and also an XBOX Live Gold Membership.

A “draft order” will be established once we have a final list of participants. This “draft order” will be the order in which teams are selected.

The way that the tournament bracket will be setup is that the highest rated team will play the second highest rated team and so on. This will be to help balance the playing field, as some players will have great teams like the Cavs, while others may be stuck with mediocre teams, such as the Bulls.

There can be up to 16 participants for this tournament. The tournament will be double elimination.

Opponents will have 3 days to complete their game. I will add you on XBOX Live for the duration of the tournament. This is to monitor in case of a situation where one player is online, trying to get the game played, while the other is making no attempt.

The tournament bracket has been posted.  In game #1, the Los Angeles Lakers (xellopollodiablo) face off against the Orlando Magic (Tabletop Leonard).  In game #2, the Denver Nuggets (haze meyer) square off against the Portland Trail Blazers (BooRad7).  The Chicago Bulls (porch1) have received a first round bye, and will play the winner of the Los Angeles Lakers versus the Orlando Magic game.Players will have until 11:59 CST on Sunday, August 30th, to complete their first round matchups (Games #1 and #2).

Please report your results at the conclusion of the game.  You need to report the final score of the game, not just who won.  This contest is working on the honor system, so if you are worried about being cheated, take a picture of the final results of the game.  Reporting some player stats to post in the contest blog would be appreciated as well!

Results can be reported to me either by the comments feature below, by email ( administrator@dabullz.com ), or by XBOX Live message ( Packman BG7 ).
